Wastewater Nitrate Removal - Denitrifying Bacteria

Wastewater Nitrate Removal - Denitrifying Bacteria
default

Description

Denitrifying bacteria are fast-acting microorganisms used in industrial and municipal wastewater treatment to enhance start-up speed, improve stability, shorten recovery after upsets, and reduce the risk of nitrate and total nitrogen non-compliance.

Applications

Denitrification tank
Anoxic tank
Septic tank
Sanitary pipeline
Sewer line
Facutative pond
SBR

Benifits

Efficiently removes nitrate and total nitrogen, converting NO3 into N2
Ensures compliance with NO3 and TN discharge regulations
Accelerates the denitrification process to reduce lag time
Restores the denitrification system after toxic shock loading or operational failures
Enhances capacity to manage higher hydraulic and shock loads
100% natural, chemical-free, and eco-friendly solution

Mode Of Action

Denitrification is the biological process where facultative heterotrophic bacteria reduce nitrate (NO3) to nitrogen gas (N2). These heterotrophic bacteria require a carbon source for sustenance. As facultative organisms, they can obtain oxygen either from dissolved oxygen in the water or from nitrate molecules.

Dosage

Consultation: Dosing varies by project. Consult your account manager for specifics.
Preparation: Dissolve at a 1:20 ratio with water. Let it settle for 2 hours for activation before dosing.
Routine Dosing: Maintain regular dosing for optimal performance.
