Application Reagent sucrose is used for the determination of 1-naphthol, also used for calcium and magnesium separation and preparation of biological culture media. Cell culture grade is used for purification of viruses and proteins by sucrose gradient. Plant cell culture grade is used for cryoprotection in plant cells. Molecular biology grade is used for isodensity centrifugation of discontinuous sucrose density gradients.
