Application

Sodium allylsulfonate is used as a monomer in corrosion and scale inhibitors, copolymerized with acrylic acid, acrylamide, maleic anhydride, sodium hypophosphite and vinyl acetate. It is also used in the development of nickel plating brighteners in electroplating pretreatment agents.
