Description This product is obtained through submerged fermentation of Aspergillus niger, followed by purification and formulation processes. It effectively degrades the indigestible phytic acid (phytate) present in grains and oil seeds, thereby liberating absorbable phosphorus, calcium, and other essential nutrients. As an innovative food processing aid, phytase enhances mineral absorption in the human body and finds extensive applications in feed, medicine, environmental engineering, and various other fields.
Phytase catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate groups in phytic acid, producing inositol and phosphoric acid. During the processing of grains or oil seeds, phytase facilitates the release of inorganic phosphorus. This action mitigates the inhibitory effect of phytic acid on protease activity and prevents the formation of chelating complexes such as starch-protein-phytic acid and metal ions-phytic acid. Consequently, this improves the utilization of raw materials and elevates the nutritional value of the final product.
