Photocatalysts

Photocatalysts are semiconductor materials with photocatalytic functions represented by nanoscale titanium dioxide (TiO2). Due to the tunable band gap and excellent stability, photocatalysts play an important role in air purification. Under the irradiation of light, photocatalysts produce photocatalytic reactions similar to photosynthesis, generating free radicals with strong oxidizing abilities such as hydroxyl radicals and reactive oxygen species. These free radicals have strong photo-oxidizing and reducing properties and can oxidize and decompose various organic compounds and some inorganic substances. Our company provides many types of photocatalysts including but not limited to transition metal sulfides and oxides-based photocatalysts, carbon-based quantum dots (QDs) photocatalysts, and MXenes-based photocatalysts. These photocatalyst materials can be used alone or in combination with other materials to improve their photocatalytic efficiency and stability.
