Summary | A thermal stable debranching enzyme able to work at low pH, and is widely used in brewing, starch sugar processing, distilling, fermentation and other occasions where starch debranching or complete starch hydrolysis is needed. |
Description |
This product is derived from submerged fermentation of Bacillus Licheniformis, followed by purification and formulation. It is a thermally stable debranching enzyme capable of functioning at low pH levels, making it widely applicable in brewing, starch sugar processing, monosodium glutamate production, and alcohol fermentation, among other uses. Pullulanase, a type of isoamylase, selectively hydrolyzes α-1,6-glucosidic linkages in pullulan, starch, and oligosaccharides. This activity enables the complete breakdown of branched starch molecules. When used in conjunction with other enzymes such as glucoamylase and β-amylase, pullulanase enhances the saccharification process and increases the yield of glucose or maltose. |
