Lactobacillus plantarum enhances nutrient utilization by decomposing proteins and carbohydrates in feed and synthesizing vitamins, thereby significantly improving feed efficiency. It helps maintain intestinal microbiota balance by producing lactic acid to lower gastrointestinal pH. The bacterium also produces various antibacterial substances to inhibit pathogen proliferation and preserve microflora balance. It boosts immunity by stimulating immune organs to produce antibodies, thereby enhancing both specific and innate immunity. Additionally, it reduces aflatoxin toxicity by adsorbing aflatoxin B1 and forming a non-toxic complex with lactic acid bacteria.
