default

Catalog Number CSR-8055

Description Hoechst 33342, also known as bisBenzimide H33342 or HOE 33342, is a non-embedded bright blue fluorescent dye. The dyes fluoresce weakly in solution, and their fluorescence brightens when they bind to DNA in the minor grooves of DNA poly AT sequence-enriched regions in living cells, which is why these dyes are also known as DNA probes.
