| Description |
This product is produced through submerged fermentation of a selected microbial strain, followed by purification, formulation, and drying. Lactase, also known as β-galactosidase, is primarily used in the dairy industry to help individuals with lactase deficiency enjoy dairy products comfortably. However, its applications extend to food processing, medicine, environmental protection, and other fields. Lactase catalyzes the hydrolysis of lactose into glucose and galactose. Under certain conditions, it also exhibits transferase activity, converting galactose into galactooligosaccharides. These oligosaccharides serve as growth promoters for beneficial bacteria in the human gut. Lactase can be used both as a processing aid in dairy production and as a digestive aid to alleviate lactose intolerance. |
