Summary | Alpha-Galactosidase is capable of hydrolyzing anti-nutrients like raffinose and stachyose to solve digestion problems, improving the digestion, absorption of nutrients and maintain gut health. |
Description | Alpha-Galactosidase is produced by submerged fermentation of Trichoderma spp., followed by separation and formulation. This enzyme is used to eliminate anti-nutrient factors, such as raffinose and stachyose, which can cause digestive issues. AG2 also hydrolyzes galactomannans in synergy with mannase, reducing intestinal viscosity and enhancing nutrient digestion and absorption. Additionally, Alpha-Galactosidase acts as a multifunctional growth promoter by improving the secretion of insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I), thereby promoting protein synthesis and increasing lean meat percentage. |
