Summary | Protease used either as feed additive or dietary supplement improves protein's palatability and digestibility, and increase the flexibility in choosing few protein sources. |
Description |
Feed additive protease is an acid protease preparation, produced by submerged fermentation of Aspergillus niger and Bacillus subtilis, respectively, followed by purification and formulation. Proteases catalyze the cleavage of peptide bonds in protein chains, producing smaller peptides and amino acids. This cleavage enhances the dispersibility, solubility, palatability, and digestibility of proteins, thereby improving nutrient digestion and absorption in animals and optimizing feed utilization. |
Advantages |
Improve digestibility and absorption of protein Supplement insufficient native protease Increase the flexibility in choosing feed protein sources |
Application | For the degradation of protein in feed to increase its digestibility. |
Application Area |
Dairy cow Aquaculture Pet food Silage Pig/swine Poultry Ruminants |
Application Recommendation |
Acid protease: 10-25 G/MT of completed feed; or add according to the formulation. Neutral protease: 10-15 G/MT of completed feed; or add according to the formulation. Dilute the product before use. |
