• Enterococcus faecalis helps maintain animal health by preventing pathogenic bacteria through adhesion and competitive exclusion. It produces organic acids, fatty acids, and biofilms to inhibit harmful bacteria and support a healthy gut flora. This bacterium produces bacteriocins and enterocin E5, which combat pathogens like E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria. It lowers intestinal pH with L-lactic acid, enhances vitamin and mineral absorption, and boosts immune function by increasing immunoglobulins, antibodies, and interferon.
