Turn on the water quality analyzer and preheat it. Take the colorimetric digestion tubes, use one as the blank, and select the same number of tubes as the water samples to be tested. Place them on the test tube rack. Add 5.0 mL of the water sample to the colorimetric digestion tube (for the blank, add 5.0 mL of distilled water). Add one dose of Copper Element Reagent B to each test tube, seal, and shake well until completely dissolved. Add 1.0 mL of Copper Element Reagent C to each tube, seal, shake well, and let it stand for 10 minutes before measurement. Wipe the outer walls of the test tubes clean. Follow the instrument's user manual to select the appropriate calibration curve and measure at a wavelength of 457 nm. |
Application | This product uses direct photometry to determine soluble copper and total copper in relatively clean surface water and groundwater. |
Testing Principle | When a reducing agent is used to reduce divalent cupric ions to cuprous ions, cuprous ions react with phenanthroline in a neutral or slightly acidic solution to form a yellow complex, and the absorbance value is measured at a wavelength of 457nm. |
