Description | The COD detection reagent is a pre-configured COD reagent, manufactured according to standardized procedures. Through strict production and testing, the use of pre-assembled COD reagents ensures more reliable and accurate COD value detection. |
Instruction |
1. Take two COD pre-filled tubes. Add 2 mL of deionized water to one (for the blank) and 2 mL of the water sample to the other. Note: Add 0.2 mL of HR+ reagent to both the deionized water and the water sample tubes. 2. Clean the outer walls of the tubes with lint-free paper and invert the tubes a few times. 3. Place the pre-filled tubes into the digestion instrument and digest at 165°C for 20 minutes or at 150°C for 2 hours. The digestion instrument must be preheated. 4. While the pre-filled tubes are still hot, invert the tubes a few times. 5. After shaking, place the tubes in a test tube rack and allow them to cool to room temperature. 6. Clean the outer walls of the tubes with lint-free paper (do not shake the solution at this stage). 7. Turn on the instrument, select the corresponding COD measurement program (refer to the notes), and place the prepared blank tube in the instrument to calibrate to zero. 8. Place the prepared sample tube in the instrument to take the reading. |
