Tryptone 15.0 g Yeast extract 7.0 g L-Cystine 0.250 g Sodium chloride 2.50 g Ascorbic acid 0.10 g Sodium thioglycollate 0.50 g Bromo thymol blue 0.010 g Agar 0.750 g |
| Directions | Suspend 26.11 g in 1000 ml of purified/distilled water. Heat to boiling to completely dissolve the medium. Autoclave at 15 pounds pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50°C. aseptically add 6.25 ml of 10% sterile carbohydrate solution. Mix well and dispense in sterile tubes containing inverted Durham tubes. |
