Description The main component of cell DNA stain is Draq5. Draq5 is a far infrared fluorescent live cell DNA dye, an anthraquinone dye with high affinity for double-stranded DNA. It is a dye that transmits through cell membranes and can label living cells or post-fixed/dead cells. In flow cytometry, this dye can be used to differentiate between nucleated and non-nucleated cells.
