Bioactive Complex, BC-011 | Introduction | BC-011 is a biological agent developed for biological foam on the surface of sewage treatment plants. It does not contain silicone, mineral oil, and nitrogen-phosphorus compounds found in conventional defoamers. It is a liquid product composed of enzymes produced by proprietary microbial fermentation and organic matter with good microbial compatibility. It is mainly used to eliminate biological foam in aerobic tanks and sludge digestion tanks in sewage treatment systems, and will not inhibit microorganisms in the system or cause other negative effects. |
| Usage |
Usually, the dosage or dosing location of BC-011 product is determined by the source of foam. In anaerobic sludge digestion system, BC-011 is used in the heat exchange pipe. In aerobic sludge digestion system, it is directly added to the system surface. The dosage is: 3-6 ppm (calculated by the volume of the digestion tank). In sewage treatment system, 3-15 ppm is added (calculated by the daily treated water volume). The dosing location is the inlet of the aerobic tank or the sludge return port. If the thickness of the foam in the system is too thick, the dosage needs to be adjusted. |
| Application Scenario |
Generally, during the metabolism of anaerobic and aerobic bacteria, a large amount of biological foam is easily produced in the following situations: Excessive growth of filamentous bacteria (such as Nocardia and Microthrips) Temperature and pH shocks Wastewater composition changes or load shocks During the start-up and restart of sewage treatment plants These foams sometimes form special structures. BC-011 can help the system eliminate foam. |
