Bioactive Complex, BC-004 | Introduction | BC-004 is a biological agent developed for anaerobic sewage treatment systems. It consists of a professional mix of microbial strains, trace elements, microbial growth promoting factors, enzyme preparations, buffers and inorganic and organic nutrients. It is mainly used for the start-up and restart of anaerobic sewage treatment systems and to improve the activity of microorganisms in anaerobic systems. It is usually used in upflow anaerobic sludge blankets (UASBs), internal circulation anaerobic reactors (ICs), etc. In the BC-004 product mix, microorganisms, minerals and vitamins have a unique balance, which can maintain the stability of the normal operation of the system and repair the system when it is damaged. |
| Usage | During the start-up period of the anaerobic sewage treatment system, BC-004 is mixed with warm water and then added to the water inlet of the anaerobic system. The dosage is 2.5 ppm (based on the amount of water treated per day) and lasts for 10 days. During the routine maintenance period of the anaerobic system, the dosage is 0.25 ppm. The dosage and frequency of addition are determined according to the frequency and degree of problems in the anaerobic system. The dosage of special products needs to be determined by relevant tests. |
