Bio-isobutanol 
Bio-isobutanol is a four-carbon alcohol compound produced biotechnologically from renewable biomass (e.g. agricultural waste, sugar and starch). Bio-isobutanol is also an important feedstock in the production of many chemicals, such as isobutene and other organic compounds, which are used in a wide range of applications in the plastics, rubber and fibre industries.
