Bio-based PE

Bio-based PE is a bio-based polyethylene produced from the renewable raw material sugarcane. As an alternative, bio-PE is a renewable substitute for fossil polyethylene (PE). Unlike conventional polyethylene, bio-based PE is synthesized from sugarcane-based bioethanol, which is of great significance for environmental protection. Bio-based polyethylene is mainly processed by blow molding, injection molding and film extrusion. This bio-based and 100% recyclable plastic is mainly used for packaging of food and cosmetics as well as household products, sporting goods and toys. Bio-based PE has the same properties as fossil PE. The current product portfolio includes various HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE grades that have excellent performance characteristics and good processing properties.
