Bio-based FRP

Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) is a composite material with plastic as the matrix material and fiber reinforcement materials added to improve its mechanical properties and durability. Commonly used reinforcing fibers include glass fiber, carbon fiber and aramid fiber. Fiber reinforced plastics are a perfect combination of natural fiber reinforced plastics and wood-plastic materials based on polyolefins or bioplastics. Fiber reinforced plastics are widely used in aerospace, automobiles, construction, sports equipment and electronic equipment due to their light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and good molding properties.
