Bacillus Subtilis Fungicide

Bacillus Subtilis Fungicide

Description

Bacillus subtilis fungicide is a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) that enhances plant resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses through systemic resistance, biofilm formation, and lipopeptide production. Applied as a soil drench, it outcompetes pathogenic microbes, boosting plant health and acting as an organic root enhancer. When sprayed on foliage, the spores compete with pathogens and lipopeptides disrupt pathogen growth and germination.

Benifits

Biological fungicide designed to prevent and control bacterial and fungal diseases in plants
Restore beneficial microorganisms in the soil
Naturally improve soil quality and fertility
Promote plant growth and enhance potential yields
Enhance plant-microbe interactions through biofilm formation
Mitigate abiotic stress via enzymatic and hormonal regulation
Inhibit the spread of antibiotic resistance genes and transposons
Induce systemic resistance (ISR) in plants
Effective biocontrol agent produced through lipopeptide synthesis

Mode Of Action

Bacillus subtilis produces substances such as subtilin, polymyxin, and gramicidin that inhibit pathogenic bacteria. It induces systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in plants, fortifying defenses before pest attacks. It colonizes the rhizosphere and foliage to prevent pathogen attachment and spore germination. Additionally, it unlocks and solubilizes soil nutrients like phosphorus, calcium, potassium, and magnesium, making them more available to plant roots.

Dosage

Soil Treatment: Apply 3 kg per acre as early as possible for best results. Reapply every 4-8 weeks for season-long control. Use soil drench, drip irrigation, or spray while sowing to the cultivation medium.
Foliar Spray: Dilute 2.5 g per liter (400x dilution). Apply every 7 days or when disease conditions favor development, starting at 20-30% bloom. Ensure sufficient spray volume for thorough foliage coverage. Reduced spray volumes may be used if coverage is adequate.
