Summary | The bleaching enzyme hydrolyzes xylan in between cellulose fibrils, loosens fiber structure and improves permeability of cellulosic materials. It brings the benefits of less use of chemical bleaching agents, smooth operation and less waste water. |
Description | The alkaline xylanase is produced through the submerged fermentation of Bacillus subtilis, followed by purification and formulation, and it exhibits endo-1,4-beta-D-xylanase activity. It collaborates with chemical bleaching enzymes to whiten pulp or paper, effectively hydrolyzing xylan within cellulose fibrils into smaller soluble molecular products, thereby loosening fiber structure and enhancing the permeability of cellulosic materials. Alkaline xylanase is suitable for the enzymatic treatment of straw, wood, bamboo, Chinese herbs, tobacco, and feed. |
Advantages |
Synergistic whitening effect with chemical bleaching agent Improve drainage and processing efficiency Smooth operation and less environmental load |
