Overview

Summary An alkaline lipase for degreasing in different alkaline steps (soaking, degreasing, liming, deliming and softening process) to effectively remove fat and ease downstream processing.
Description The product is an alkaline lipase that breaks down fat molecules, helping with more efficient fat removal. It is used in different alkaline steps (soaking, degreasing, liming, deliming and softening process) to make processing more efficient and improve product quality and can be added directly without solubilization.
Advantages Efficient complete but even fat removal
Wide working temperature range from 15°C to 65°C
Good compatibility and synergies with other degreasing agents
Application For leather degreasing at alkaline pH in tannery
Application Area Leather
Liming
Bating
Degreasing
Soaking
Application Recommendation The optimal pH is 7.0-9.0 and it works within 15°C to 50°C.
Suggested dosages are as follows (% on Pelt Wt):
Cow hide: 0.20%- 0.50%
Pig skin: 0.30% -1.00%
Goat skin: 0.30% -1.50%
Sheep skin: 0.30% -2.00%
The dosage has to be optimized based on each application, the raw material specifications, product expectation and processing parameters. It is better to begin the test with the convenient volume.
